Probably a very unthreadworty post but was curious about something I noticed.

I purchased the Apple TV a week or so ago and really like it. When I used the search in the YouTube app there was a mic in the search bar and could use the voice to text with the remote or had the option to use the keyboard on my iPhone to type in the search. Now I don't have the mic in the search field. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Again, not that big of a deal at all just was curious why the option isn't there anymore.

Thanks

It just brings up siri and doesn't search within youtube.

You just need to move the selector to the youtube search bar, then push down the mic button. I forget to move the selector and hit the mic button all the time, prompting Siri, which I do not want seeing as how I just opened an app.

I've tried everything and can't seem to get it. When I open the YouTube app at the top I have Search, Home etc. I swipe to select search them click with the remote and all it does it highlight the beginning of the alphabet and a notification on my phone to type the search.

Again, it's not that big of a deal but I'm pretty sure I had that option when I first installed the app and did a search.

Move down from Search, into the search bar, then click the mic button. Does that work?
I can't move down to the search bar. I click and it starts at the alphabet or if I swipe down it starts at the alphabet.
[doublepost=1502423982][/doublepost]I did find a way to search by voice. Use Siri and say "Search YouTube" or just "YouTube" then whatever search term with the app open or not.
