YouTube? Spotify?

Mac OS: Ventura 13.1

Am I missing something simple here? Is there no YouTube or Spotify app in the Mac App Store? It's obviously available for iOS, but not for the Mac?

No native Youtube client, but Spotify has a Mac app. You have to download it from their website. Both don't allow their iOS app to be installed on Mac
