Hi all.
Last night I started having problems loading YouTube videos on my 4th generation AppleTV. One video would work and then the next one I tried to load would just sit there buffering.
Tonight it has gotten worse and will not play anything after I had watched a few videos this evening.
I know for certain that it is not my internet connection, as all my other devices work and can use YouTube and other services (like Netflix).
I’ve restarted my AppleTV and also deleted the app to reinstall. The process of reinstalling has taken over five minutes at this point and it isn’t even halfway downloaded.
Also, another thing I noticed is if I stream a video from the YouTube app from my iPhone to the AppleTV, it will just sit there and try to buffer. I can stop it and it starts playing immediately on my iPhone.
Everything is up to date. Safe to assume YouTube has screwed something up with the AppleTV? I don’t understand how this would affect the time it takes to download the app from the App Store though...
Anyone else experiencing this?
