Personally, I love YouTube so much.

Whether it's Jacques Pepin cooking shows or old documentaries or aviation videos or EV reviews ... I could go on for days.

It's by far my most watched video platform.

I have access to YouTubeTV (for sports) and I watch nothing on there other than sports.

This will be good considering the ever increasing prices of subscription services. Expecting a worldwide rollout of the feature in the coming months.

Can you use premium lite as a family?

I pay for the family just because of zero ads.

I don't use it for literally anything else. Not even downloads. Just don't want ads when using youtube on our phones, ipads and tv's.

It would be nice if they would get the rollout of premium lite done in the US otherwise this is all just pr hype to dangle in front of people.

I think you're missing the point of youtube. It is not like other streaming platforms and never will be. You're comparing apples to oranges.
YouTube has a place. It is different...

But the sub price is way too high for what it is ;)

I've never gotten the point of it, other to watch an occasional DIY video. I might watch 30 mins of youtube/month.

Just can't get interested in following "creators".
I watch a bit of it... but as background stuff. Video playlists I throw on my projector while sitting on the computer. There's a lot of promo concert stuff and chill/rave mixes that are good.

But I can live without them. They arent essential.

The product reviews and help stuff is useful. But not for the $$$ asked to cut ads.

YouTube has made it much harder to subscribe to countries like Turkey, India, Argentina, etc if you don't have VPN access or especially a payment method from one of those countries.

And you absolutely need a VPN to subscribe with Ukrainian, or another country's, pricing if you're not physically there.

No, you don’t for UA. I did it a few days ago for some friends using their CH google account.

I’m not sure though if it only applies to Europeans. they’ve lifted this restriction due to many Ukrainian refugees being in EU/ropean countries now.
