Youtube video freezes in Safari (audio still plays)

Hi,

I have a persistent problem in Safari – if I jump back using arrows or slider, video often freezes (shows a static frame) while sound continues to play. Video will recover after 10-20-30 seconds or if I jump back and forth a couple times.. Anyone has the same issue?

P.S. It happens in Safari using Youtube HTML5. Seems to happen on different resolutions and fps

I've had a similar problem after switching to Sierra a cpuple pf months ago. While watching a YouTube video, it frequently just freezes and sometimes after 20-30 seconds, it's OK. Sometimes I have to get out of YouTube (not easily) and try again. I also feel that everything is much slower on Sierra. I'm thinking about removing it and reinstalling Snow Leopard.
