YouTube video sometimes gets stuck

hi!

safari on my MBA has this very annoying bug. Sometime when watching a YouTube video the picture freezes and only moving the mouse cursor will get it unstuck. the audio keeps playing and the laptop stays responsive.

any idea what the problem might be? At the moment I have to use Firefox to be sure to avoid this issue for sure.

it did find malware which it removed, but a freeze just happened again. for a sec or two though, much shorter.

I ran MacClean which seems to have sorted this particular issue.
