Youtube videos and Safari 10.0.1

Hi gang, I'm having an issue with watching youtube videos (and odd issues with videos in general) where I get the sound but no picture? I am on a late 2015 5K retina 27" iMac with 32 GB ram and the top video card with 4 GB VRAM. I am running El Capitan 10.11.6

I believe this is a known issue, is there a solution yet, or do I need to change my browser (don't really want to).

I solved this issue. I switched over to Chrome browser. Voila, problem solved.
