Yes, it does change the texture and yes, it is perfectly clear. Some have described it as an "orange peel" effect. Some love it, some hate it. However - www.bestskinsever.com is the EXACT same thing as Zagg and about 1/3 the price with all of your coupon codes.

But not free of shipping. How much does it cost to ship, you might ask? $4 a pop. Do the math, how many times will you have to order a "free" skin from zagg to equal the cost of the same number of skins from BSE.

Is Best Skins Ever really the exact same thing?

Sure doesn't look like it to me.

The shape is different and there are fewer pieces (which means some of them have to fold/bend). Doesn't that leave room for things to get in, peeling, etc?

I can't comment for sure as I don't have both, but this doesn't appear to be a apples/apples comparison.

They are the same material, but for some reason Zagg skins have a yellow tinge to em. But they may be cut differently, but I've never had any problems with peeling.
 
Brando is much better for screen protectors, no peeling, no horrible sticky texture. You barely notice its there.

They probably arnt as ultra scratch proof as zagg, but they do the job of protecting the screen.
