Game i bought was Battlefield 3 haha.

Its been a few days, and the fuzziness is still in effect. I'll give it another few days before I rip it off and return it at BestBuy.

The funny thing is, it looks like all they carry is Zagg and all they have is the FRONT only and it was $24.99, which is $10 more than the price of it on Zagg's website. I pricematched it off the Target website and the manager came over and studied the website for the longest time thinking i was trying to take them for their $$. BTW It was a wet install version.

So far, I love the extra rubbery feeling it adds to the phone. My cases should be coming in today so it will look very clean.

The fuzziness is starting to bother me less but still has an effect on me.

After careful install of the Invisible Shield on my white 4S, I noticed that when I turn on the screen, it looks like Im looking at a old school TV. It has light specks all over it. It makes it very hard to read text messages, emails, and such.

I had just installed it yesterday, will this eventually go away?

The fuzziness should go away. It is the water/soap solution under the skin that hasn't dried completely. Takes about 1-2days. At least that was my past experience with Zagg.

I dont use Zagg anymore. I use Skinomi now.

uhh 1-2 days?? lol its been 4 days and its still the same :(

yellow tint

I purchased a zagg invisible shield for my white 4S as well. The installation was fine, no bubbles or fuzziness. The shield looks very nice after the installation. However, it started to have a yellow tint after a few days. Im very disappointed in zagg. I have purchased some protector from SGP to replace it. I cant wait for it to arrive because I cant stand the yellow tint.

UPDATE:

So, my fuzziness didnt go away. Its still the same. I looked on here looking for other suggestions. I decided to call their customer service to see if there was another kind I could get as a replacement. I was on hold for a few minutes then a very nice girl came to the phone. She told me that the anti glare does do that, I told her that it was all Best Buy had, which was true, and they were trying to sell the one piece for $29.99, when it retails for $14.99 on the ZAGG website. She told me that she could offer to replace my screen with the original Zagg for free as a one time curtesy. She also then waved the shipping charge. All I had to do was put a credit card on file which wont be charged when I ship my old one back.

I think thats pretty awesome customer service, true that they make a killing on these screens.

Yeah I've used Zagg for several years now without any problems. I'm actually using PowerSupport Matte on my iPad2 and iPhone4S right now, but just for the front primarily because I have purchased the InvisibleShield previously and don't mind having their extra protection on the back side at least.

They do eventually peel off on the corners and get orange tinting, but that's when the lifetime warranty comes through. I really haven't had any problems with Zagg CS, they're usually pretty helpful and try to work with you. Just remember to register your screen protector on zagg.com and order replacements if your protector starts having problems :)

OTC? Is that dry or wet?
I do not recommend zagg, it makes the phone look like crap. Sure it's scratch proof etc, but it will not look good, it will peel eventually. You might as well use a generic dry protector and replace it with a new every 2 months if you even get scratches. It will look like its not there if you apply it without bubbles, which is easy if you know how to do it, much easier than the zagg. It will also feel better. I'm using "iWill" screen protector atm, it's cheap and of very good quality.

I think zagg belongs on an older iPhone as you don't have the glass back where you can have the same as the one on the front instead of a case.

I have been using Zagg invisible shield on both my old IPhone 3GS and my new 4s. I have found it takes a little practice to put them on properly, but once you get it, they are fantastic.

I can see the orange peel look of the invisible shield when my phone is off, but when my phone is on, I cant even tell that I have a screen protector on.

Any micro bubbles that you may have in your screen should go away (if they are bubbles from the fluid) but if they are air bubbles or lint they may not go away.

It may go away, they may be bubbles that need to dry still....however, it still doesn't change the fact that Zaggs are junk. They leave an orange peel effect on your beautiful screen and have a sticky, rubbery feel to them. Any other type of 'dry install' crystal screen protector is recommended over the wet install type Zagg...
Careful search/research before purchase & careful install = no Zagg.
Completely subjective. It doesn't matter what you or I prefer. There are certainly people that like the Zagg IS whether you get it or not.

This "fuzziness" is kind of getting on my nerves though. Asleep, what would you recommend?
I always recommend SGP or Power Support. Have you read any of the other countless screen protector threads? There really have not been any recent revolutionary additions to the screen protector market so most comments have been endlessly rehashed already. As asleep suggest, do some research before making a purchase.

Zagg looks nice after it cures and is installed properly.
Again, subjective. I've never had problems properly installing the Zagg IS but I can't stand its texture, the orange peel and the distortion compared to other crystal screen protectors that are mentioned in this thread. Again, YMMV as this is a subjective matter.

OTC? Is that dry or wet?
Neither. OTC = over the counter (i.e. not mail order).

.

As i said in my OP, I've never used a screen protector on any of my iphones in the past because they were black and I used an otterbox. Now that I have a white phone, I just use a bumper case. Also, i DID do my research but held off on buying because I have used screen protectors before the iphone and they have all sucked.

I will wait until my replacement comes in from Shagg and see how I like the regular one. If it doesnt cause the fuzziness, as CS told me, then I will keep it and I will gladly pay $3 every few months to get it replaced. I personally love the feel of the zagg and I have seen people take out a pocket knife and slash it across the screen and nothing happened to their screen.

UPDATE:

Replacement screen came in the other day. Zagg CS sent me a free replacement and switched me from the smudge proof to the regluar.

After 2 days of having it on, I love it so far. It really is like there is nothing there. The fuzziness is gone and my screen is back to its glory.

But, as many people have said, it will yellow over time. Im sure it will eventually, and I will post when it does.
