At IFA Berlin, ZENS today announced a new range of wireless chargers, each including an ultra-thin aluminum design. All of the new wireless chargers will be available beginning September 15.

First is the Single Aluminum Wireless Charger, which is a simple single-device Qi-enabled wireless charging pad, much like those launched from companies including Belkin, Mophie, Anker, RAVPower, and more. ZENS' solution supports fast charging and has a maximum output of 10 watts, and will cost $49.99 at launch.

The next accessory is the Dual Aluminum Wireless Charger, which can charge two Qi-compatible smartphones at the same time, with a total output of 20 watts. This charger is priced at $79.99.

Lastly, the Dual+Watch Aluminum Wireless Charger also charges two smartphones simultaneously, but includes an additional perch for the Apple Watch. Similar to the Dual Aluminum Wireless Charger, the Dual+Watch accessory supports fast charging and has a total output of 20 watts. This one is also MFI-certified and is priced at $99.99.

Unlike the AirPower, for the ZENS Dual and Dual+Watch Wireless Chargers you will need to place devices in a certain position on the mat to charge. With Apple's upcoming wireless charger, there isn't a required "sweet spot" for iPhones or the Apple Watch, as they can be placed anywhere on the mat to be charged.

More announcements are expected to come out of IFA Berlin, which doesn't officially kick off until this Friday, August 31, and lasts through September 5.

The low-priced market is saturated. No point playing there right now. We're going to see more head for the high priced market, such as these. Better to get in there now before Apple drops theres with the added advantage of multi-device charging.

I do think these are sleek but I'm really putting my money on Apple's mat that supposedly has the ability to put the device anywhere. My current mat is frustrating when in the morning my phone is dead because I missed the sweet spot or it got nudged off it after I placed it on. My wife even stopped using her mat in favor or plugging it in directly, for this same reason.

Those aren't shabby looking, aside from the price. Though I guess 3 chargers for $99 isn't awful. I've never heard of the brand, however.

Glad that Apple mat that still *doesn't exist* doesn't require a 'sweet spot' for charging.

I'm going to be VERY surprised if Apple doesn't somewhat walk back this claim too. "You're not placing it anywhere right."

Am I the only one that hates flat mat charging? All my three wireless chargers are stands

That definitely has to be the reason why it still hasn't shipped.

This double charger with Apple Watch stand could be a great alternative to AirPower for less money and would look even better on a dark night stand. Charge the iPhone, AirPods case, and Watch all at once! I've often wondered how AirPower is going to work for users like me who use the Link Bracelet and Milanese Loop. Answer: it probably won't, but this will.

I keep seeing this comment about link and malanese when wireless chargers are discussed... I have to admit I don't own either band, we prefer the silicon bands, but wouldn't you just push the button on the back and remove one side of the band? We swap out silicon bands semi-frequently in our household, we have 4-5 different color sets. Its quick and easy to remove one or both sides.

Intriguing, but I’m a little confused by a certain element in the design choice. This seems to get it almost right, while completely missing the point. Why wouldn’t this model feature a second Apple Watch perch? Presumably this is designed for couples, so that they can charge both their phones at the same time at the same location. Wouldn’t it make sense that they might both have an Apple Watch?

Hmm.

I’m looking for a standup charger for iPhone supporting fast charging along with Watch stand for charging in one unit. In another unit a 10k/26k portable Qi wireless charger with at least 10W for fast charging.

Don't order unless you have an EU outlet to plug into. I ordered one, great idea as it offered what I needed. However after I finally got mine this week I went to use it and found the wrong power cord was in the box, it was an EU cord, not a US cord. I emailed them about this and will see if they offer to send a US power cord or how to return it, given its an International Shipment this will not be fun to return. What would a company only provide an EU cord obviously this is being marketed globally,
