Accessory maker Zens this week introduced the Quattro Charger Pro 4, a multi-device charging station with a unique design. There are two rectangular charging platforms, each with a pair of magnetic charging surfaces for charging four total devices at one time.

The Quattro is a Qi2 charger, so each of the magnetic charging pucks can charge an iPhone at up to 15W. With Qi2 support and the multi-level design, the Quattro is able to charge four iPhones at once at 15W.

Because the charger is flat, it works with both MagSafe-compatible iPhones and older Qi devices that do not have included magnets. The charging surface can also be used for AirPods and other smartphones, but it does not work with the Apple Watch. Given the orientation of the charger, it is worth noting that StandBy is not supported.

The Quattro Charger Pro 4 can be pre-ordered from the Zens website for $200, with black and white color options available. It will ship out to customers at the end of October.

I mean, it looks slick, but, $200 intro and later probably higher? and it doesn't say whether a power adapter is included or not, and I guess it would have to be at least 75W to charge 4 devices ...
and who has the need to charge 4 devices at the same time?

I still don't see the attraction to wireless charging, the loss, the heat, etc.

I dismissed it for ages too, and really disliked magsafe when someone bought me the charging puck. The way it claps to the back with an unnerving snap and how cumbersome it is to disconnect it one-handed.

That is, until I stuck it to my bedside table with double sided tape. It's pure lazy indulgence, now I can clumsily pick it up and put it down in the dark and know it's always being charged.

Fair enough, and I guess that is the way I would classify such things, aesthetic indulgence. Pretty stands versus cables.

I would argue that I can, and do, do the same with my phone at night. I plug it in and can clumsily pick it up and put it down in the dark and know it is always being charged. For a while I even had an old desk stand so I could see "standby mode" at night. YMMV, all good!

$200? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It is about time for consumers to stop this madness and simply not buy these obscenely overpriced junk. Just let them produce them and have them sitting at their warehouse until they learn not to be greedy.

I’m surprised there don’t seem to be any MagSafe chargers designed for wall mounting. I attached an Apple MagSafe charger vertically to the side of a cabinet, it’s super convenient and doesn’t take up any space.
