There's gotta be some type of swipe from the left corner or swipe somewhere to close an app to the homescreen right? I don't think chpwn is going to upgrade it hopefully there is an alt out there. How can I pull up the multitask bar via a swipe gesture?

I use Activator for this. I'll use this until zephyr gets updated, if ever. But activator is a decent workaround. I have mine set to swipe from bottom right. This way I can still use control center via middle or left bottom swipes and keep the right for close apps.

right on Bump gonna look into that, any way to get to the app switcher from the homescreen via a swipe? I'm looking for on top of this I guess a workaround to multitask without having to double click my home button

Haha so funny. I actually have activator set up for swipe bottom right on home screen to activate app switcher. Then I have the same action set up for in apps except to close apps.

Home Screen: swipe bottom right for app switcher.

In app: swipe bottom right to close apps

If you happen to have a 5S you can set the touchID to close apps. I like it even more than I liked Zephyr.

Awesome, funny that we always cross paths wanting the same tweaks or to do the same stuff lol

Yeah still on a 5 holding out hope for a bigger screen hopefully this year

Edit: is it just me or is there noticeable lag when using it to close an app? I think iOS7 is the culprit as iOS6 on my 5 ran butter smooth with all the tweaks in the world

    Haha seriously. Good times.

Yea there's a lag but it's activator causing it. It waits for you to lift your finger and then it recognizes it and then it does the action. If you swipe but keep your thumb on the screen and keep it there for a couple seconds, it'll close the app (or do whatever action is set) after you lift it.

My recommendation is to practice swiping fast and short to speed it up. But yea, there's a delay for sure.

Edit: Can't relate on iOS 6 vs iOS 7. I was using the 4s before buying the 5s on launch day. So it's sooo much faster than the 4s that I can't compare the two like you.

Anybody else using the single press on fingerprint scanner? It really isn't a press more of a touch. Just wondering about scanner and battery drain..

I can't seem to use activator to replicate it reliable enough for me

Oh man that's annoying. It's by no means a perfect workaround. Every once in a while, swipes from the screen bottom right either opens the control center and does nothing or it'll open the control center as the app is closing. Minor annoyances for me. It beats using the home button so frequently. But this is only once in a while. Not nearly enough to bother me.

That sucks it's not as reliable for you. It didn't work great either until I found the sweet spot. For me, I do a curved swipe in the bottom right. I start in the corner at the bottom where the edge is, and do a slight curve towards the middle (only a very little...I'm still very much on the bottom right of the screen) and then swipe off the screen on the bottom quarter of the right edge. This works best and almost never fails. It's hard to explain but if you try to figure it out, I guarantee you'll get much better responses from the swipes.

Let me know how you make out.

Edit: Above I said I swipe towards the middle but that's a poor description. It's more of an inward swipe but it's very short and I immediately curl and swipe off the screen bottom right on the right edge. Hope that helps a little better.

FYI, as you swipe towards the right edge, I go the same height as the top of the dock icons. If you swipe off the right edge screen at the top of the dock icons, I think you'll be in good shape :D

Sorry bout that. I was referring to "First Springboard Page" near the bottom of the list. I think it's in the "System Actions" section.

I've been using it since the first day it arrived in Activator. There has been no noticeable difference in my battery life.

That's exactly how I do it except my Bottom Right is LastApp, Bottom Left is 1st Springboard Page, Bottom is Activate Control Center and Press Fingerprint Sensor is Home.

I also just figured out today in Flex how to disable the Apple Control Center swipe from bottom, so I no longer accidentally open Control Center when swiping from bottom left or bottom right. If only Activator had a setting to activate Notification Center, I would also disable that with Flex so I wouldn't accidentally open it with my swipe down from top right and top left Activator actions.

    In Flex 2
New patch -> SpringBoard -> SpringBoard executable -> handleShowControlCenterSystemGesture
    Leave values as pass through

And for the Notification Center, if you're so inclined:
New patch -> SpringBoard -> SpringBoard executable -> handleShowNotificationsSystemGesture
    Leave values as pass through

Yea, I just prefer to go to my first page since the second page has a handful of apps that I rarely use

This was added in Activator v1.8.4~beta5 and a lock screen bug with it was fixed in v1.8.4~beta6
