Zero out data? Doubts about formatting the drive

Hi.

If I format the drive to clean install Lion, which method should I use?

-Don,t erase data
-Zero out data

Is there any important difference between them?

The difference is, that one takes longer than the other, as one writes your entire HDD full of zeroes and the other doesn't.
For a clean install Zero Out is not needed, unless you sell or give away the laptop.
