Zerospan-long distance itunes sharing?

Anyone else try out zerospan? (zerospan.org) It promises sharing of rendezvous services over the web, but me and my friend can't even get the application to start! does anyone else know a)other apps that do similar things, b)a way to make it launch, or c)if it's even worth using?

that sounds pretty self explanitory?
maybe it doesnt work, im very interested to see if this works however, because i do want to be able to network macs without being on the same network. This is the first app that i have seen that does that.
