I noticed a new feature (or I think it's new) in iOS 10. When viewing a ZIP attachment in Mail, you can now preview the contents of the ZIP. Has anyone else seen this?

Being able to view the contents of an email is new to iOS 10. It was talked about on Monday.

Your original post essentially stated that prior to iOS 10, there was no email support in iOS.

But Mac OS X does not support ZIP file preview anyway.

The nice thing about macOS is that it supports previews for arbitrary file formats by taking advantage of QuickLook Generators, for example: The BetterZip Quick Look Generator.
