Hi all, I just used the ZiPhone (with the 'modymyifone' GUI) and everything went fine with no hiccups. Except, it won't recognise my new GSM SIM. All it says is "Different SIM detected, connect to iTunes store". When I connect to iTunes it says this SIM is not supported. I've tried one other GSM SIM and found the same thing.

Any suggestions what to do to get it to recognise my SIM? A few details:

    I'm running 10.5.1, iTunes 7.6, iPhone 1.1.2 OTB with 4.6BL.

Also, I live in Afghanistan (been here three years) using a Roshan SIM. The SIM works in my old Nokia handsets and is GSM.

One other thing, ROSHAN sometimes appears in the top left corner, but only one service bar. It at other times just says NO SERVICE.

Any help would be appreciated! I've searched the forums for the same issue but haven't found anything - that could just be because my connection is so slow though!

Did you use the -u option when running ZiPhone?

I used the GUI interface for ZiPhone so wasn't able to use -u or any of the others.

I think though that I just need to run iWorld...
