I attempted to jailbreak my touch with ziphone. I have 1.1.4. I decided to kill the process in the middle because I had initally chosen the wrong option. I then attempted to refurbish and restore the ipod so i could correctly jailbreak it. However my computer nor the ziphone application can find my iPod. The error message on the Ipod says BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0. The Ziphone error message says

Searching for iPhone...

I need help at least resetting my touch so i can restore it and hopefulyl all of this will be gone. If anyone can help or has similar issues please let me know. Or if you can lead me to a thread that would help then that is also greatly appreciated.

possible solution to ur problem

try puttin ur ipod into restore mode(with the home button and the power button)
then hook it up to ur computer
open ziphone
clik on the "Click to show advanced features" tab (u should have the newest version of ziphone i think its 2.5
make sure that the restore symbol is on your ipod(itunes with a usb cord)
from the advanced features tab click on normal mode
it should fix it pretty quickly.

hope this helped

or hold power and home button down and then when the apple logo appears let go of the power button and keep holding the home button and boot it in recovery mode. Restore in itunes
