I have a new camera(in signature) and in need a lens to zoom in with, to like get deer's and things that will scurry off if I get to close. Please give me some suggestions. I have 150. US Dollars to spend on one. thanks for helping

Yeah, this is probably your best option. However, I don't think you'll find one for 150$, even used. You're looking more at 200$.

agreed, right on $200 seems to be about the entry point for a used lens, though obviously locally through craigs list or something similar you may find a better price.
