Not possible for iTunes to go out of business as Apple runs it at breakeven regardless of volume Seems like it was mainly done to help support iPod sales whose time has already passed. Wll have no real effect on Apple overall.

People still buy ipods, not everyone wants a smartphone you know. Besdies itunes orks with iphones and ipads did you forget that?
