Zugu case for iPad Pro M4

Don’t know, but I expect arrival times will be pretty much the same.

So you could save your money until release time or preorder to support Zugu and possibly get it a day or two sooner.
 
These cases really are the best. I was actually delaying my purchase until they came out...but decided I can't wait till August to get them. :)

I ordered a standard case from Amazon for now (a generic Apple portfolio copy)... still deciding if I want to pick up the $300 keyboard....

I'm just going to give a shout out to Zugu customer service. I bought a new 13" M4 a couple days ago and I preordered a Zugu case for it because I love the one I have on my M2. I paid the full price. I saw an ad today for a 15% discount and I was kind of annoyed that I didn't get that. So I emailed and asked nicely if it was possible to get a refund for that amount or cancel and reorder. They responded within 10 minutes and gave me a refund for the 15%. I am so impressed with their customer service!

I don't think they add much bulk at all... they are really protective and the front cover fits really well.

I will not pre-order though, since who knows how good the fit will be on the new, thinner iPads.

I received my Zugu case on the 15th but wasn’t able to get my hands on it until today.

I opened it and got a slightly unusual smell. I can’t quite place it, but it reminds of a spice… possibly Indian? It’s not awful, it seems to be mostly coming from the felt-like cloth insert and the inner packet insert. Anyway I have a fan blowing air through it and will give that a day or so.

Only impressions so far it while it adds bulk it doesn’t feel particularly heavy in hand without an iPad in it. 12.88 ounces for M4 Pro 11 on my scientific scale.

I received my pre-order slate blue yesterday and it is perfect. No odor right fit great fit for the Apple Pencil. They’re selling all the colors on Amazon so either way pre-ordering didn’t matter. I’m glad to be able to takeoff that ESR bulky monstrosity. This is a lot of protection. I’ve had them for a lot of years in various iterations of the iPad. Good luck.

It’s garlic.

I put the Zugu on my iPad and have been using it for a couple of hours and my left hand that I hold and scroll with smells like garlic. This is weird. Back to my old back shell case until I can figure this out.

Is the Zugu case worth it? I need another case to use when I am not using the Magic Keyboard. I bought the Apple Folio but I am not a fan, I feel it does not offer great enough protection on the go, especially for the price I paid for it.

For me the Zugu combines the best protection with actual functionality. It does add some bulk, but not a ton of weight relative to its size. Historically the Zugu has had a strong loyal following.

Price wise, I think it compares favorably to Apple products… especially the Folio which offers no side protection if you drop it. Use discount code IG15 to get 15% off.

I intend on posting a review with pictures when I have time.

I was about to buy it then I found out that they are not shipping to the UK, only the US!
So annoying!!!!

yes, I encountered the same problem, the seller did not want to send to Russia. But I found a solution, I managed to get it to a warehouse in US, and from there I can ship it to myself. On the ZUGU EU site I think the wait may be longer, so it will be faster to receive a parcel from US, even if it goes along a double route.

It doesn't allow shipping to the UK though. Only United States so I don't see how you can get around that? When you put your address, only the US is an option...
I am ordering from their website btw

You need to look for some kind of service for delivering parcels from the US to the UK. There is the following meaning, the service gives you an address in the US, you order from the zugu website. And then from that address you will have the opportunity to send it to yourself. This delivery will take longer, but you will be able to buy goods for the US domestic market

I didn't even know you could do that! Do you know any service that does that?
