Got my Zugu case today. I am impressed with the fit, protection, build quality, and design. I will definitely use this when I am not using the MKB. Thanks for the thread and solid user feedback about the case. I almost passed this by.
I really like the slate blue color (Zugu Case iPad Pro M4 13”). The colours generally seem to be less vibrant than they appear in online marketing pictures. Not bad though, just different.
I have a green one ("pine") on my iPad mini... it doesn't look like they offer that color any longer. It's clearly the best iPad case that I've ever had over the past 14 years.

I just wanted to update this thread with a short review of the new Zugu case for the 11" iPad Pro.
I did not pre-order, because you never know how a new product is going to be. To be honest, I was worried about how Zugu would handle the thinner form factor.
But this case has surpassed my expectations. I have had this case for years on my old 2018 iPP. The key improvements and issues include:

But this case has surpassed my expectations. I have had this case for years on my old 2018 iPP. The key improvements and issues include:
- The opener tab is much more sturdy than in years past. Historically it was weak and tended to fray and weaken over time.
- The tab also has a recessed fit into the case when closed, which provides for a solid feel and als a nice thumb rest when using the ipad with it open.
- The fit is really perfect, all the way around - not just the cutouts, but everything is clean and solid. The buttons work just fine.
- The Apple pencil well is deeper than in years previous, and also allows for the pencil to fit in either way. However, I am still dubious about keeping it magnetically mounted when traveling.
- The "sleeve" for the pencil on the back is sturdy, but I think still the same material as previous versions. Over the course of a couple of years, I expect that it will loosen a bit. It is not ideal for the pencil to be in a pouch on the back, as it doesn't allow the the case to lay flat on a table (on that side). However, the geometry of the case is well designed, so that when open and in "tent mode", that side of the tablet is never face down.
- The USB C charging / data port has a nice cutout that will accept wider cables.

The pencil slot being round on both ends so I can orient my pencil whichever way I choose is a nice touch.
I have a berry Zugu on my Mini 6, slate blue on my iPP 11 2021 (replaced with an iPP 11 2024 and magic keyboard), and pine on my Air 13”. The Air 13” has the good pencil slot. I don’t care for the orientation on the other two cases. Not a deal breaker but a little bit annoying.
I like the Zugu cases, got them for two other Airs (Air 4, I think) that are now with family/friends. They are a little bulky but I like the stand and they are sturdy. I carry my Mini 6 when I’m our running trial cameras or operating equipment at our camp, which I wouldn’t do with it in any other case.

Got my 11" case today, really like it best iPad case I have had for sure, usually use Apples but didn't like this years, tried a cheap one off amazon too I didn’t like.
Magnets are good with great angles, solid stand and good buttons too, not too heavy but good protection.
I got my iPad half price but was silver and wasn't really a fan of the silver front border mainly with video, this case hides it nicely. Have a pencil coming today so will be good holding it with the 2 spots.

I just bought the case for the 13. It's the first Zugo case I've bought. When I receive it, I'll give my opinion, but from what I've read and seen, it looks like it won't disappoint.
I love my blue case for the mini and green for the 11 pro. As mentioned in a previous post, the last gen tabs will weaken and the top right corner starts to delaminate after a year or so. Still I highly recommend Zugu and will buy the latest versions when I decide to upgrade devices.
I've had the mint green case on my iPad mini for about 2 years and don't have any of these issues. No issue with the tab and no issue with any delaminating.
Can't see anything on this case wearing out, unless user abuse.
AZhappyjack, happy to hear that. I'm sure our experience is atypical and I attribute it to a manufacturing flaw.
Surfsalot, user abuse could be a factor with product deterioration. In our case, there has been no abuse and the products did wear more quickly then expected.

What do you think is the best colour Zugu cases? I am scared of getting one of the non Black cases incase it gets dirty quick...
I don't think that is an issue. The material is vinyl-like and somewhat "rubberized", and wears really well. I've had the pine green (apparently no longer available) on my iPad mini for over a year now and it looks brand new, despite daily use both inside and outside of my home.
The pine is available for the new M4 iPad Pro.
I am debating between the Pine Green and Black...
