Somehow, my Apple Watch 6 cannot have a stable bluetooth connection with Zwift. It is something that is unique to the Apple Watch 6 since my other fitness devices have no problem connecting to Zwift.

Is my Apple Watch broken and needs to be replaced?

Have you tried the basic troubleshooting? Unpair your watch and phone and re-pair? Do any of your other apps that you use on your watch share this issue? Are any other devices also connected to Zwift at the same time? Is this your first watch? If not, any issues with previous watches? Lots of variables here, so its difficult to give a recommendation.

Tried everything and it is only the Apple Watch that is troublesome. I have many other devices connected at the same time also, but they never have connection issues.

I also have an other hearth rate monitor that replaces the Apple Watch and that one also does not drop.

I would say it’s a Zwift issue if the heart rate monitor does not experience any problems. Personally I do not have any issues with my AW 6 and Bluetooth connectivity. Try contacting Zwift? Good luck hope you can get an answer.

I’m assuming you’re using the Zwift Companion app to get your heart rate? If so, it’s buggy. I’ve found that every few rides, I have to go to Zwift’s settings and unpair then re-pair my watch. This typically works. If it doesn’t and/or the Companion app has updated and/or I’ve restarted my phone/watch/iPad, I typically need to force quit the Companion app on the watch, and try again. Sometimes I need to open the app manually on the watch too.

Hope they figure it all out some day, but it’s rare I can’t get it to work with some amount of fiddling.

I hope this helps a little.
