they really should of included the 12w brick that the iPads use considering how long it takes to charge on the 5w.

on apples' site if you look up the 12w power adapter it lists everything its compatible with. and all the iPhones are listed. So if this is on apples site then there are no issues or worries about damaging it.

Compatibility

6/6+ come with the fast charge capability right? So the iPad charger shouldn't harm the 6/6+. I think the amp is what matters right?

I'm pretty sure its the phones software that determines when that starts, usually when you're getting close to 90-100%

Absolutely. I'm just trying to say that the faster you charge them, the quicker they will deteriorate. It's perfectly safe but shortens the lifespan.

this is true because it generates a little more heat while charging. but i doubt you'd notice the difference unless you set up some controlled test and that would take a long time.

Agreed. If the batteries were easily replaced and genuine units easily sourced, I wouldn't hesitate to use an iPad charger. As things stand, I'll suffer the 3 hour cycle.

Maybe it's the lack of multi-tasking and only being able to have one app open at a time...

That isnt it, multitasking speed is just as equally fast on both, he just has to get used to getting around the OS more

Plus split screen window/application windows on a 5 inch screen is just beyond stupid and gimmicky

I jailbroke my phone ... I have this app that shuts off all bands on my phone when i lock the device ... All except the edge band which is the low energy efficiency one... That checks my notifications yet it saves battery tremendously... Highschool student that uses iphone constantly - gets 1 and a half days of usage .

What's the name of the app and which depositories you got this app from?

Since I bought it 2 days ago. And charged it once completely. I hope this is going to get better in some days.

I was seeing the same as you for the first week or so (received my phone the 5th) but today I'm getting incredible battery life! Check the screen shot out. I also have Bluetooth on 24/7 because I have a pebble so that doesn't help, but if it keeps this up I'll be more then happy! :)
