Safari on ipad behaves the same way on the iPhone now, when you scroll dow a page the address field disappear!
WOW. This is a BFD to me and I'm surprised there haven't been other reactions to this in this thread! There are sites that are horrible for screen real estate on the iPad currently. Engadget comes to mind, especially if you zoom in while in landscape. They have their own menu bar, a huge ad banner along the bottom, and of course all the safari stuff up top. It leaves a ridiculously small amount of space for actual page content. This fix is really great.
I discovered a scan credit card function in Safari when I was entering a card number.
Very cool.
I'm about to drop $3k on a Sonos system for my house. If Apple adds the ability to AirPlay to multiple destinations in iOS 8, it would save me a LOT of money.
Can you not do that with a Mac and the Remote App? Save the thousands.
It depends on what you want to do. If you want to send the same stream to different places, then yes. You can do that today. But if you want to send different streams to different places, then you need Sonos, unless there's something in iOS 8 to do this, which to my knowledge is not the case.
Wow. Really?
Yes. Of course it is optional. Did you think Apple would come in to your home, check on your family and automatically sign you up with the same credit card and link your iTunes accounts?
What's with the tone? Sheesh.
The question is, if you *already* use the same credit card across different accounts (as we do in our family), will Apple see that as "family share" and thus link these accounts - and all their purchased content.
