I took the image off Apple.com/iphone which they serve up to Retina MBPs; it was almost the right resolution. Had to stretch it a tiny bit to fit 640x1136. Unfortunately it has that light effect on it.

Your right, that works great on some images but I manage to find a few that don't play nice and you can see just a bit of the line. Either way thanks for posting that template it works great.

I added the transparent status bar to a couple more pics that I found on this site. Unfortunately I sometimes can't get rid of a little line (only visible on some pics) just under the status bar.
I also included a sample so everyone can see how pics with transparent status bars look like on the iPhone...

Pac Man for iPhone 5

For those of you who were asking for it, here is a properly sized pac man wallpaper for the iPhone 5 (the original wasn't retna quality so I recreated it at 640x960 for the iPhone 4). With the extra space I was even able to add in Blinky

Can anyone photoshop away the light effect? That would make it perfect!!!

Some more car stuff. I tried to find a good picture of the TopGear UK hosts but none of them looked right once they were cropped. The 640x1136 display makes wallpapers a little more difficult. You have to find pictures that are already tall to begin with and then you almost always have to crop more off the sides.
