Feel like I haven't posted in a long time. A lot of things have changed for me recently so getting out and taking photos hasn't been as easy.

It's great to come back and see that everyone else has still been improving setting the standard even higher!

As the sun is in the sky for longer (at least here in the northern hemisphere) I look forward to putting the Hasselblad to good use!

Nicely done. Did you use a filter to get such an orange sky or was it just one on those sunsets? The dark silhouette works well against those colours in the sky.

I didn't use any filters and I didn't edit the photo, it was just a very pretty sunset.

The best kind! Sadly my sunset shooting never co-insides with the really pretty ones. They always occur when I'm driving on a motorway with no camera!

Haha, well I saw it was clear day, and I really wanted to capture a nice one. So I prepared ^^ I read a few tips online on which camera settings to use for a sunset and waited for it. :p This was actually my 2nd attempt, I got a few photos from the day before this one, but they weren't as nice since it was quite cloudy.

You can see my last two sunsets on the previous page. Both decidedly average IMO.

That is a really intense orange sunset, I've never seen it before. I've come back and looked at this several times now and I have to ask. What is with the double sun? I know there is a natural phenomena which makes that appearance, but forget exactly how.

From my 365 Project, where I am taking six images a week with my iPhone and one long exposure with my DSLR. Idea being to slow down and think even more about the imagery I am creating.

I'm really not sure to be honest, maybe it's lens flare or because I shot this from my room with the window closed.

Not new at all! It’s been in my possession for about 2-3 years now but I haven’t really been taking any pics as I have been wrapped up with some other things.

There are a lot of cons compared to digital but I still love taking shots on it even if it is only to prove that I can gauge exposure, focus and DOF as it is a purely manual camera.

Initially took this for this weeks competition, until I realised it said not macro! Should have read that first! Anyway thought I would still share it with you guys. 20140417-_DSC1558 by apple fanboy1, on Flickr

By the way they have dropped the drawing pin button in favour of these selections now. I guess there were too many complaints. I used BB Code which I guess is the right one.
