look at yahoo tracker and find when the ipad left the ramp use then filter out to just see FedEx Flights...at the bottom of the homepage you can filter to a certain airline...FedEx is on there. Look for where your package is and look for a departure time that matches. It took me 3 days to learn all that.

I'm in Short Pump but work in Richmond. Just a heads up, there are a number of Targets around here that have had stock. Check the Target thread for the inventory tracker and you may be able to find one sooner than your order comes in. I leave for vacation today but my iPad isn't due to get here until Tuesday so I managed to find the exact model I was waiting on at Target so now I'm good to go. Check it out.
 
I could be wrong, but when I was looking at flights I don't see one from Hong Kong going to Anchorage. I only see one from Hong Kong to Memphis which would be flight FDX98. I can't tell if it is in flight or still waiting to take off...
 
Bummer, looks like those of us who were shipping out Friday got stuck in Shenzhen for the weekend.

Unless they are moving things over the weekend, things will start move again Sunday night for us/Monday AM in China.

At least for me on the East Coast, fedex adjusted delivery by a day. Arrives on Thursday afternoon.

Same exact shipping time as the camera kit.

I'm in NC and mine got stuck in AK last night. I just spoke with FedEx and they said the package is scheduled to ship out tonight and should be available for delivery Monday morning.

It does not leave until 10:15ish Hong Kong time.

Does Fed Ex do delivery on Saturday? I mean, I know they can, but I thought it had to be a special "Saturday Delivery" marked package that usually has an extra shipping fee attached to it? Hopefully I am wrong!

If that were the case, it would be cool if we could just pay for the Saturday delivery instead of having it sit there for 2 days.

It depends on the service...ground does not deliver on Sat. at all...overnight has to be marked for sat. delivery...and home delivery (i think that is what it is called) delivers Tues through Sat. and not on Monday...I am not sure what branch of FedEx it is coming...Does anyone know if it is on a ground or express truck...ground is green and express is orange...home delivery is in a van.
 
finally my 16gb black 3G AT&T got a shipping notice after sitting in "prepared to ship" all week.

Delivery of March 23rd, so hopefully everyone who got in early (i ordered at 2:54 PT) will also have theirs finally shipped.

I'm not sure, but mine is set to deliver on Monday morning before 10:30AM, so I am guessing it isn't home delivery. And it wasn't overnight (Although I did try!) So I guess I just wait until Monday. I did call Fed Ex to try and get more info, and was only told that it had cleared customs and would be making its way to me over the weekend and to not worry, it would be on time. Which I guess is good news, and officially puts to bed the notion that it shipped out of memphis and tracking wasn't updated. Not much to do now but wait.

My new employee also took advantage of this all inclusive "See the Sights of Asia" package. My new little employee is probably sitting right next to yours discussing how much more time they can milk out of this excursion.

overnight is express that is what handles their 2day shipping too. I am 95% sure that is how does international but I only took in the packages when I worked for FedEx...I did not deliver...but I think that Express (overnight or 2day US shipping) was who picked up for international.
 
My smart cover is stuck in Anchorage and my iPad is stuck in SENNAN-SHI. I checked some prior flights back a couple weeks and noticed that fedex don't have any flights leaving these locations on Fridays and Sundays (ever). I guess mine is on vacation until tomorrow and hopefully they make it to the states before Sunday so I can have them in my local facility Monday.
