Interesting... My smart cover came from MEMPHIS, TN to Chicago earlier this week. Took 3 days from day of purchase(3/11) to get delivered.

I think they will just because of Apple. There is no reason for them to say it if they aren't going to do it.

In North County got mine yesterday. Sorry for everyone else's wait though and my poor sister is one of you and she ordered before me.

Woopie, my Ipad cover that was ordered after the Ipad will get to me today, while the pad is still out shooting with Palin in Alaska.
 
I've concluded FedEx doesn't like to be early as my iPad has been chilin in memphis since it arrived around 1240am local time. Almost 12 hours later, still there.
 
my ipad is in Sennan
my cover is in Anchorage

Yep mine is hanging out in Memphis too. I am in Atlanta and scheduled for delivery 3/22 before 12:00.
 
while i can't wait to use my ipad2 this wouldn't be so bad if i didn't sell my orignal ipad on Monday.:(
 
My 64 GB ATT Black shipped this morning. It was originally scheduled to arrive March 23, but it got an "Exception" (missed the Fedex cutoff) and is now scheduled to arrive on the 24th.

Right now it's chilling in the Lantau Island, HK Fedex center. Based on my other shipped items, it takes 3 to 4 days to arrive once in HK. I don't supposed Fedex flies over the weekend?

Mine has been hanging out in Anchorage. Maybe it's picking up some King Crab to surprise me with. :D

I'm northwest of Atlanta. My "estimated delivery" is today by 4:30pm. Yeah, right.... Maybe Monday :(

So what are you waiting for? Why follow all the iPad 2's that were ordered much later than 1:01am PST on March 11th? They are already slaves to their new bosses. Why not have some fun and vacation before starting that new job? You deserve it!

Just remember with a trip like this make sure to take plenty of good pictures and videos of the fun you had with those shiny new cameras (disclaimer: the quality of still photos may be extremely poor).

at least my 1:22 a.m. launch order did finally ship - in the window they said it would ship - and it is on Lantau Island, H.K.

from this point, I can breathe a sigh of relief. it's on the way. I had worried it might get shunted, somehow, to a much later date.

I am deeply concerned that FedEx lost my package. And this info is from the Yahoo site, which gives far more info than FedEx's site.

I just realized that somethings on my apple order say: Shipped via Federal Express and some say shipped via Fedex ground. My iPad does say Federal express... would anyone know if Express Delivery would indicate the possibility of a saturday delivery?
 
I think mine jumped ship after it got to Lantau Island. No doubt out partying with drunken sailors.
My original delivery date was Mar 23. But sometime after it hit Lantau Island, Fedex moved the delivery date out to Mar 24.
