Any good they didn't play any new stuff @ Download :( but I've got tickets to see Devin Townsend and Fear Factory double tour I cant wait.

After seeing Soundgarden this weekend I didn't realize how much I love this band and this song.

YouTube: video

I am digging the new album a lot. So far New Messiah is my favorite.

I have seen DT once. He is one weird dude but man his music freaking rocks!!!!!!!

I love Soundgarden. That band seriously had some really good songs and they are really good live too!

Fear Factory >> New Messiah

Yeah live Soundgarden blew me away I had seen video's of them live since they reformed but I wasn't impressed but Cornell's voice was incredible , I wish I saw Devin but he was on @ the same time as Machine Head who were ok but nothing amazing and missed out a few good tracks.

One of my favorite songs ever, even though it was produced years before I was born.

GPN - Grace Potter & The Nocturnals

I've been listening to GPN alot the last few months. Just saw them last night at the Ottawa Bluesfest. Such a fantastic band - great songwriting, tons of energy, strong musicianship and GP's voice is amazing. They're off to Milwaukee, WI on July 6th for Summerfest if you're near there.

A fresh sound to rock n' roll. Nice to see a band pay tribute to past rock n' roll through their sound - especially when they introduce those sounds to their peers (through the music and by playing ie. White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane and Rockin in the Free World by Neil Young as examples).

They are good, aren't they? :D

JAZZ-FM91 plays them all the time.

Not only "good" but absolutely brilliant.

I have all of their albums (they are one of my favourite groups) but hearing them play live transformed things to a different plane altogether; they were simply sublime. A fantastic, uplifting, wonderful evening.

I like the sound of JAZZ-FM91, if that is the sort of music they play.

Knock yourself out. And only 2 minutes of commercials per hour.

They also do Bluz and Latino on week-ends.

And Big Bands too.

Sounds just like my kind of music station.....

In Ireland, one of the radio stations run by the state broadcaster, RTÉ, called Lyric FM, is a specialist music channel and is excellent (and is probably the only thing of cultural significance to emerge from the demise of the Late Unlamented Celtic Tiger) - featuring, among others, classical, world, blues, jazz, Latin, and broadcasts live concerts such as the one I attended last night.

@Spoonman..

Oh I am digging the new Gojira album... Not as much as "From Mars to Sirius", yet...

Gojira>>L'Enfant Sauvage>> Liquid Fire

Yeah I listened to it on Youtube this morning it was ok so far Elephant Sausage is the only track I'm keen on :)

Didn't know where to post this but this is the Music thread so...

Here is a photo of Slash showing support for Lamb of God's Randy Blythe who is spending his Independence day in a Czech jail cell.
