Armin van Buuren: A State of Trance Podcast & Ferry Corsten's Countdown Podcast

It's a rare track from about 1983 or so by a band called the Pool. I had bought the 12" single back then and as was the norm for a lot of albums back then, it was on blue vinyl. I had heard the song by this band entitled Dance It Down at my local 3.2 bar back then, you know, when anyone 18+ could go in and drink 3.2 beer. Brings back lots of good memories.

I have that CD. I especially like The Swag, the theme song from Pink Flamingos. Are you familiar with John Waters films??

I'm delighted. Glad to see a fellow fan of this singular music.

Actually, as will probably come as no surprise, I came across Link Wray on a Los Lobos CD (actually the soundtrack to one of the Mariachi movies with Antonio Banderas - "Once Upon a Time in Mexico", I think), and also, obviously, on the (extended) soundtrack to "Pulp Fiction" where the mesmeric "Rumble" featured as a track.

A heartfelt 'amen' for the internet, and the joys of Amazon, as I just received it this week, and opened (and ripped it) tonight.

However, no, is the answer to your question re John Waters' films.
