This guy cracks me up. I predicted iPad Air 2 would have TouchID the minute Apple said iPad Air 1 did not have TouchID . . . along with everyone else in the world that follows this stuff.

I bet it will be "33% faster" too.

Literally fortune tellers of the electronics world--stating the obvious in a manner so broad that it only means: "Product X will improve and use new technology"

I don't understand some commenters complaining about Kuo. His past predictions were very good. Obviously no analyst has 100% accuracy, but he is better than most if not all AAPL analysts out there given his track record. He is also based in Asia and has better access to component makers and suppliers.

I agree that spacing out the products would make sense. But with the size of Apple and the complexity of new catgeories this is probably once again an unfortunate coincidence.

Lastly, the iWatch price rumor is fascinating. The Swiss watch industry must be getting nervous. This is their mid-market territory. People absolutely pay $500-1500 for a watch, some brands even start well above that (Rolex, Omega...).

If Apple can get the fashion part right, the traditional "cheaper" watch brands sold below $1000 to $2000 will have a hard time. These brands can't replicate most of the technology Apple puts in their watch, their market share will erode. Older people will always buy very expensive watches ($5000 to $10000 or above), but the mid-tier market and younger people could switch to Apple.

Biggest complaint: Apple NEEDS TO STOP putting all their product announcements within a few months of each other. Getting too expensive in too short a period of time, especially with all these new items.

I agree with this, i really liked it when the iPads where updated in the March timeframe, I'm not saying they need to go back to that per se, but I really would like to see the product refresh cycles spread out, I mean how can I buy all these items!?!

I like the idea of the iMac being the first product launch this year. Im ready to upgrade my late 2012 iMac :) But I hope Apple will release a new high end model with that low cost, if not Im not buying.

So, its gonna be a biggie :)

I like it. Bring it on.

Just when i have all AppleCare across all my devices, apple make me cry :( i' guess allot of the "features" not needing new hardware necessarily to run on, will be done via Software updates on previous..

For example, they added panorama mode to iPhone 4s., which didn't have when the feature was announced on later phones. Or when they added Bluetooth to AppleTV 3

so, i'm guessing older devices won't be left out.

Flexible Amoled?

Am I the only one, who thinks, that a flexible AMOLED Screen doesn't make sense if you have an unbreakable Sapphire Glass cover?

Apple is going to show more than the refreshed iMac at WWDC.

Macbook Air -> WWDC, new iPhone (small one) -> october

12" rMBA should be Q2 as opposed to Q4. Doesn't make sense to update both at the same time.

Broadwell will not be available until Q4 2014 and not in mainstream supply until 2015.

How is that an issue? You don't have to buy the moment they are available. If you can't afford to do that then spread your purchases over the year.

I'm having a hard time with the $1,000 iWatch tidbit. That just seems unrealistic.

$299 and $399 seem like more realistic price points for a companion, wearable device. Not that Apple plays to the competition all the time, but those prices are in line with others + the usual Apple tax.

iWatch was never going to be a $399 item. It was always going to be a premium product. Apple doesn't do cheap junk.

He backed it up with picture! It must be true!

Based on his track record, he states the obvious, and adds unconfirmed rumours to the list. Just like all other analysts.

I would disagree on the MBA in the later part of the year. I believe the only thing he is basing this on is the availability of the new Intel chip. Since all the retailers are now lowering prices on the MBA that would indicate a stock reduction for the new model. It would follow the similar pattern Apple has followed in the past.

Now the watch will be ready for Christmas, the ideal time.

Also why are so many clamoring for the mini? I have a two year old model and it does what it does well. What you really want is that fancy iMac screen for the price of a mini.

What I wanted to see for the iPad Mini is "much improved display panel". Hopefully it's still in the works.

While $1K sounds like a lot for a watch, most $1K watches have anti reflective sapphire faces on them (which Apple's will). They are also usually dive capable (screw on crown) which I'm not sure apple would do, and often Gold plated or Titanium.

With all the electronics, apple would probably forgo a direct comparison with typical $1K watches on features, but it had better look sophisticated and not like a toy or the people with that much disposable income simply would not wear it.

You know why they do this right? Holiday season. Apple keeps all new hardware to Q3 and Q4 for the holiday rush.

Apple was making plenty of money when they had staggered releases throughout the year also.

It's also a major reason they have a perception problem, because they used to make news headlines every few months. Putting everything into one quarter is a major marketing mistake in that regard.

I was thinking the same thing. Let's hope "low cost iMac" is the MacMini.

I doubt, personally I consider the "low-cost" iMac to be current spec model with cheaper unibody (some plastic, cheaper screen), while the new iMac will arrive in two variants std, and iMac Pro, the later with 28" 4K display, dual GPU, high en i7/low end xeon cpus, SSD only storage and Black Unibody.

also there are consistent rumours on a new round shaped Mac Mini, having also a discrete GPU as top-end option, looking as a smaller silver Mac Pro.

All new iDevice (except Gaming iTouch) will have TouchID, Apple may Offer Later TouchID on some MacBooks too (maybe next year), Pink/Cherry and Golden Colours may be available too on iPad Minis -soon-.

Another Rumour VERY CONSISTENT is LOSSLESS HD AUDIO (24bit@96Khz), Apple will sell HD LossLess version of popular songs at iTunes, also will enable 24bit HBR audio capability on some iPhones, along selling iPhones with 128GB of storage to make room for huge LossLess HD audio clips (most requires upto 60MB each).

First we will see at WWDC: the new Mac-mini, and the Cheaper iMac/iMac Pro (as well a 28"4K Thunderbolt Pro Display -again in Black-), and maybe the Colored iPad/iPad mini (red,pink/golden/blue).

The High Bit Rate Audio Revolution will arrive with the new iOS 8 (and announced at WWDC), OS/X also will shown a flatter icon set consistent with current iOS theme -that's very obvious-.

I don't have time to discuss analysts here. All I know after following Apple for a long time is that Kuo is one of the best analysts following AAPL with a good track record. Most analysts have a mediocre track record in comparison.

PS: If you think it's so easy apply for an analyst job at any big broker or bank. The job pays very well. Or trade Apple stock yourself and become rich if you know the future of the company better than the analysts or brokers/traders.
