This is what Consultants and Analysts are to me:

I hope he's wrong on the iPhone 6 4.7" resolution. That would be very disappointing. I feel like 1080p should be standard on any new phone screen in 2014.

And please increase to 2GB. I feel this will really allow the phone/ipad to maximize their abilities.

Printable size iPhone

Any chance someone could make a printable prototype of the 2 iPhone sizes? I would love to estimate which would work better for me.

I'm sorry Arn, but probably the biggest thing that burns my biscuits in this world are Analysts and Consultants. Even if Kuo is correct a good chunk of the time, the sun shines on a dog's ass sometimes, more times than others. These type of people are a useless commodity in the world in my opinion.

You do realize you're on a website called MacRumors, right? And as far as rumors and speculation go, this is as solid as it gets without actual leaks occurring.

I'm a bit disappointed there's no sign of a retina Thunderbolt Display but it would seem no OEM is supplying a cheap enough one that's up to Apples standards. The "cheaper" 4K 28" panels being produced right now that sell for ~$700 are TN, not IPS, which after having IPS panels for 5 years in the iMac, makes TN a no go. Sigh. Maybe next year then.

The lack of a Mac Mini update shows that engineering talent is being spread way too thin though. Selling products with outdated CPUs just rubs me the wrong way.

Seems pretty accurate. Kuo is usually 80-90 % there. His only wrong prediction last year was the Mac Mini Refresh, and that likely was originally scheduled. Why it didn't happen, who knows.

I don't like the delay in the 5.5" screen iPhone, but it looks like that is happening. The 4.7" resolution is way lower than expected. This is the first time I may hold off on an iPhone upgrade. I love one handed use, but I would seriously consider the larger model but want to see it in person first.

Sad to see the Apple TV refresh taking so long, was hoping that would be earlier...maybe we will get an SDK at WWDC, but I doubt it.

The iWatch of course is interesting, but the $1000 price point for the high end! Damn.

Very interested in seeing the 12" Macbook Air. I do love my 13" rMBP though, and was an Air user for years. Would consider going back but we shall see.

Don't know how they are going to do a cheaper iMac, unless they just sell an older model or go back to plastic.

Biggest complaint: Apple NEEDS TO STOP putting all their product announcements within a few months of each other. Getting too expensive in too short a period of time, especially with all these new items.

Screen resolutions are more difficult in iOS because Apple has designed the OS around specific pixel densities. Changing them means blurry images for UI elements which would NOT look good.

What about the MacBook Pro line? I was really hoping to pick up the current line refurb or a new line full price one base and tax free. this year. I have heard a lot about the MBA but no love for the MBP, what gives?

I'm having a hard time with the $1,000 iWatch tidbit. That just seems unrealistic.

$299 and $399 seem like more realistic price points for a companion, wearable device. Not that Apple plays to the competition all the time, but those prices are in line with others + the usual Apple tax.

There's a difference between MacRumors and MacGuessing though... and that is pretty what most analysts do.

interesting...

I have to say outside of not ordering the maximum RAM (and Maverick issues), my 2010 entry-level 21.5" iMac does quite nicely when it's not acting up.

I doubt I would select a low cost version (if the QC was better that would be another story), but I am hoping the BTO options become cheaper. It would be nice not have to pay close to 2gs for the 2010's replacement (which could be a Mac Mini if they're ever updated.)

Werd.

I clicked to see and there's no mention of a Mac mini. What a disappointment.

$1000 iwatch?! Lol.

Didn't they order 65million made or something? I highly doubt that the most expensive will even be half that.

I wouldn't try to guess at a price, but the problem a lot of people are having conceptualizing this product comes from making the assumption that it is a single product called a "watch." I don't think it will be either, and I believe this is what Kuo is saying also.

I think they said the high end I watch with different bands etc. I have no problem paying a couple thousand for a watch but not sure Apple has the brand to sell a watch for that price.

Especially because they would have to introduce 2 new screen resolutions which developers have to adapt to, which is kinda unlikely (see iPad Air and Mini = same resolution, different sizes)

Wouldn't the iPads come after the 4.7 inch iPhone? Since you know, iOS 8 will launch along side the iPhone.

Not necessarily if they are just iPad upgrades as opposed to a new design launch. Doesn't seem far fetched from what we've seen in the past.
