I called at 4:21pm and it still said backordered. Called back at 5:01pm and it said processing! I ordered a 128gb SG 6+.
 
Ok lets see where everyone "being processed" is located. Indiana here. Let's see if there is a trend. I'm being processed

So is "being processed" considered a better status then "backordered" now? Seems like last week it was the opposite, lol.


You'd think as long as this thread has gotten, that a member that works for AT&T would have popped in by now with some perspective.
 
Was back ordered at 3pm, just checked and now being processed! Keeping fingers crossed! 64gb 6+ silver.
 
Backordered. Backordered. Backordered. Backordered. ... AHHHHH!!!!

64gb SPG 6+ ordered minutes after site went up. Conf email almost instantly. 10/2-13
 
Looks like the 10-2 to 10-13 crowd is where everyone stops moving up. We're all kinda stuck here, or people are just getting moved to here. Hoping I get updated to late this week. :(
 
The AT&T Executive Office called me today and we got nowhere. Below is a summation of what Louie told me.
  • First come, first serve does not apply to the iPhone 6+, only the iPhone 6 regardless of what the email said
  • Despite the above, phones are still being processed first come, first serve
  • Not a chance anybody who ordered before me, 3:10 am EDT, has received their phone before me
  • AT&T's systems do not show the time my order was processed, only the date. This, despite a Premier rep telling me my order processed at 9:09AM EDT on 9/12.
  • The Executive Team has had no other complaints about orders shipping out of order. My complaint was a surprise to them.

Given this phone call and our discussion, I can only assume the customer service issues which plague AT&T are not only with the CSRs - they extend all the way to the Executive Offices.

That's literally the exact same conversation I had with a member of the exec team this afternoon. Which confirms that they have received multiple complaints. The exec team member I spoke with kept trying to argue FCFS still applies. I asked her to define AT&T's definition of FCFS and she said it means those who order first get their phone first according to availability. I asked her why then people who ordered the same model as I, but placed their order later got their phones. And we went round and round. Ultimately I ended up getting a small bill credit, but it's still not worth it. After this year I'm heading to Verizon for the next phone release.:mad:
 
Ok well...7:30 this evening 611 said backordered.

Just called 877 and it says my order is being processed.

Double checked 611 and now it too says being processed.

The other day 877 said backordered.

Maybe... something is happening maybe... kinda.

STATS:

3:35 AM launch day order with delivery date of 14-21 days and then Oct 13th to the 24th
7:23 AM Confirmation email
Between 9 AM and 10 AM on the 13th I got two texts form AT&T saying my ordered had been processed
Sometime later the 13th ship date was moved to Oct 31 to Nov 11
15th ship date was moved back to Oct 13th to the 24th and then to Oct 2 to Oct 13th and nothing since until just a few minutes ago...
 
When I call in my status has finally changed to "your order is being processed" it was saying backordered even 2 hours ago.

Ordered 2:13am CDT 9-12-14 128GB SG 6+. For what it matters I am in South Dakota.
 
Went from 10/2- group that said "pending shipment" to now saying shipped 9/23 and status "Processing" and "Shipment Processing". Premier 16GB SG 6+. Not sure if it's a coincidence that I also paid my AT&T bill today?
 
Mine change from backordered to processing two days ago then switched back to backordered some time last night and I remain in backordered.
 
Long time lurker, but I figured it was time to join the support group. 9/12 order, 128GB SG 6+, 2:05 CST order, 3:45 email, 2 texts from AT&T at 6:45pm and again at 8:45pm. Premiere. Texas.

Original ship date was 10/31-11/11. Bumped to 10/13, and bumped to 10/2 - 10/13, where I've been for the past week. 877 has been letting me down all week with the Backordered BS, until now. Status is now Processed, but says to expect shipment between 10/2 and 10/13.

AT&T sites still show the same status and I've received no other communication. Hopefully we'll have our new toys soon.
 
But who knows because I remember many people have theirs shipped the next after it changed. I'd say chances are better that it ships.

I can't wait to bend it because its in my front pocket!

Aww man, now I'm going to be calling every 5 minutes to make sure it hasn't changed to backordered. Preordering the 6+ has turned me into a crazy person!

I just did that. Still "being processed" haha!

This is a new habit i didn't need to form.
 
My first 6plus changed to processing on 877 right before it shipped. Still waiting on a 16gb plus sg. It also just changed to processing.
 
ordered at 3:14 AM EST, confirmation email at 6:28 AM, order processed by att (according to premier rep) at 9:19 PM EST (yeah that says PM, like 18 hours later PM)

just went to processing according to 611. no change on any order status sites. hopefully will receive tracking in next several hours.

ps. been following thread since it was "20 pages old" and you f$&%ers are nuts. and funny.

but nuts too.
