This is a FAIL of a thread. Not that the OP failed, but the design of every screen protector here that is attempting to meet the whines of iPhone6/6+ users for edge-to-edge coverage is the same, or damn close to it. The design of EVERY item so far causes the corners to lift when any case that offers any real protection at all is installed. Yes, even the Apple leather case that is so popular (that I use as well) and the one that at least one manufacturer swore would partner perfectly with...and didn't. These full-coverage SP's are only fully functional and friendly to those who carry their iPhone 6/6+ naked with no case at all. I wonder why these people even care about protecting the screen on their phones at all, when one good drop will dent and gouge the soft aluminum casing of their phones.

Why don't we just accept that there is not going to be a cake-and-eat-it-too answer to this, and simply be happy with quality tempered glass SP's that are "case friendly" and offer no issues when used with a good case.

iPhone 6 Edge-to-edge Glass Screen Protector — The holy grail?

I just received it as well and experiencing the same disappointment. Everything is as described and have contacted them. I have a feeling I won't be getting a reply any time soon since I had emailed them twice before and haven't gotten a response. Let's hope we successfully get our money back

Actually, I did get a reply back within about 12 hours:

"Thank you for reaching out to us! Please take the protection film off then you will see it is true black. As for the edge to edge design, can you please send us a picture of the glass you received on the phone? We designed our glass as case friendly so most cases can fit well. Our top priority is that you are 100% satisfied with our glass. You will get full refund with shipping if our product does not meet with your expectation. However, please give it a try. As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions and we will be happy to help!"

I did peel back part of film, and it is not true black. It is silver and reflective. Here is the best I can do pic wise. The Mime is laying over the iloome, so all the black you see is the part where it falls short of the edge.

I am sending them the picture, and asking for the refund.

Update: They already sent me a postage paid label to return the item. While I did not like the glass, their customer service was top notch.

I've stopped looking for one.

I'm using one I got off ebay for £2 and it's great, thin and covers the screen all the way up to where it starts to curve, no issues so far and no scratches on the exposed part of the screen

Wow that looks just as nice. Got an ebay link for this? Also, what case is that?

Been using one from ebay as well and everything is good so far. Pic attached so if it's not a good pic...don't have a good cam on me right now.

Would you guys be interested in something like this? We made this sample yesterday and we're considering it to be our second-generation ScreenMate depending on how you guys feel about it.

Very nice looking!

One suggestion I have would be to remove the white bezel from the glass protector and just have it as clear glass.

How is the fit? does it really curve over the edges? why is it a major disappointment

iloom

I installed the iloome and took it off after a day.

the glass is "thick". reading their website i really though their contoured edge design would have been more dramatically tapered to match the phones glass. it really isnt. you can feel a pretty large lip around the home button, and particularly at the top and bottom of the screen the protector really stands up. the curvature of the protector is not very dramatic at all, its almost flat.

having said that the glass felt really good, its coating was fantastic and it really was invisible. it had fantastic clarity.

From the pics it looks exactly like this one I bought from ebay. The edge doesn't really curved and it has a mirror finished which also is not black but dark gray. I didn't bother to install it on mine. I just threw it away.

Can you post more pics of it?

How is the thickness and the edge? Can it be used with a case? I can't see if you have one on there.

iloome's new prototype for CLEAR CURVED glass (ScreenMate) for iPhone 6.

What do you guys think?

We've been developing new glass technology for screen protection (actually for Galaxy Note Edge), but we're trying to implement them on iPhone 6/6 PLUS as well. Like I said on the other thread, but it probably won't be available for couple months at least, as we're still developing/perfecting the technology.

When I use it, it feels as if there is no screen protector ( it feels sturdy I was able to removed it to get rid of dust spot on the screen and replace it without any issues like 3 times. I got it for like $6 so in my opinion it is worth it. The first pic ,it is sitting in a clear case I brought.
