also remember that if you bold a name, it counts as a vote, even if you didn't mean it to, and if it is not bolded, it does not count

Ah, you forgot mine for TechGod, but that must needs to be amended in light of rapidly changing circumstances, and the desire to forestall an unwelcome bandwagon developing…...

With Koodauw on three votes, - as of now, only ravenvii and twietee can tally with him, unless others nestor themselves and offer changes. However, if memory serves, on Day 1, most people simply sit tightly…...

Okay, twietee, for now, with the caveat that I may change as circumstances compel - as I have no knowledge of anyone's inclination, orientation or powers, hidden or otherwise, at this stage.

After being able to calm down the army troops gathered in the Citadelle, they retreat to the Mess des Officiers de la Citadelle, a lounge restricted to officers where they can talk and eat privately.

They deliberated the rest of the day how they will try to find who the culprits are and how they should resolve that matter. Like gentlemen and lady they arrived to the conclusion that even though this situation is quite particular, they should show the army that they are not afraid of ghost, the plague, monster or any other calamity and they will not let this decimate the Great Britain army.

Finally, just at dusk, Don't Panic, the Capitain of the 62nd Fraser Highlander, got out of the building, followed by the 58th Foot regiment Captain Koodauw, in shackles. With all the rest of the captains they got to the execution platform made during the day in the middle of the courtyard.

Captain Plutonius read aloud the paper in his hand : For conspiracy agains the crown, Koodauw, Captain of the 58th Foot regiment , we strip you and your family of your title, land and medal given to you by our Majesty Goerge II King of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire.

Captain Queen of Spades then said : Koodauw, your death will come by hanging.

The face severe, but definitely sad Koodauw walk silently, put his own head in the loop of the execution cord. Captain Twietee straighten the knot and then gently pushed Koodauw to his death.

After several minutes, nothing happened, then Captain Rick Snagwell wispered : “I think we should burn that monster, like the Algonquin did with the General.”

While waiting the fire to start, the clamor of the troops started to come to the ears of the captains.

“I don’t think we should wait to see if we are right, and retreat to our apartments for the night right now…” said Captain Moyank24

Koodauw was wrongly killed...

IT IS NOW NIGHT TIME: You have up to Thurday 7 PM to send your Nightynight actions. If I received the PM faster, the next day will be longer.

Excellent narrative.

My commiserations to Captain Koodauw, I shall drink a toast to his memory, in 20 Year Old Port Wine, with the permission of the Mess. And seek to ask some questions. Forthwith.

Now, let us see what then night shall bring.

Unfortunate - but Capt'n Koodauw didn't really put up much of a fight.

Anyway, my role sux and Ima dumb player, so no good reason to feast on me wolfies.

No, he didn't and nor did he advance much by way of a defence. Curious.

And the velvet quality of the still and heavy silence of everyone else is also…..quite interesting.

Maybe a 24 hours long day was a little bit short? I'm really not in favor of only majority lock, but I don't want to rush anything either.

For the silence, I do think it's the rust from not having a game sone time ;)

So you're saying they all got rusty? Didn't think about that possibility...could be. :D

I personally think 24h for the first day is fine. Nothing really going on anyway and everybody just wants to get over with it. Even Koodauw.

Perhaps.

However, I think it an easy silence to hide in……..

And no, I don't think the 24 hour day too long.

However, that does beg a question and it is this: When does the night end?

I like the idea that everyone got 'rusty'…..

Koodauw is like that in many WW games. Besides, what defense can you make on turn one other than saying you are not a WW.

I guess that nobody else besides me dislikes Mondays :D.

A 24 hour day is fine and it's only quiet because it was turn one.

Agreed, that an unusually quiet 24 hour day on Day 1, is not so strange.

And a 24 hour night allows for a considerable degree of underhand, undercover activity…...

Ehhh, he could have voted for me at least? I mean, no complains over here but I'd have been a goner .. but whatever.

If the 7 PM thing keeps on during the whole game it'd be a bit of a pity for me, will always miss the last couple of hours til deadline.

Day 2 should end at GMT 4PM on saturday.

I debated changing my vote to you to stir things up but it was too close to the deadline and my vote would have probably done you in. In any case, with the different powers in play, winning the vote doesn't necessarily mean you are killed (or even win the vote) :D.

I also feel like I should be ranked higher than a Captain. If Pluto is a Captain, I have to be at least a General, right?

I second that. Also, being captain of the 35th regiment of Foot sounds utterly awful! I want a horse at least!

But the cavalry are the firm redoubt and refuge of the gloriously and irresponsibly rich (because officers must supply their own steeds, and grooms), wastrel aristocrats……..and - sad to say - in general, the less intellectually well endowed.

he didn't even actually need a defense, just a vote.
i guess he just didn't have a chance to get online.

in any case, i do not think 24 hours is too long, at least during weekdays. weekends usually there is very low activity, so there it makes sense to make them longer.
if anything, 24 hours for the night is way too long, IMO.
