Australian Resellers Receive Mysterious Boxes

I looked at it for a bit (also have my old iPhone box sitting here, since I was selling it), and that's definitely green. It's blurred, true, but it's a blurred green icon.
Also, my box has the app store. But then, my iPhone came with 1.1.2. 1.1.3 moved it on to the left, but I don't think they changed the boxes (don't know for sure). So this would either be a very delicate photoshop, or a new box.
What I'm saying is that they wouldn't package a demo model in the same packaging that the real iPhone will be in. I've seen other demos, and they usually come in inconspicuous packaging.

No. Colorware sends out custom boxes with their colorations. THIS IS NOT IT. WHAT DID I TELL YOU PEOPLE? At any rate, if the guy has the balls to break the NDA, then why doesn't he have the guts to show the entire thing? Because he's a liar.
ok i found this on the french site the picture is called 32 Go (french for Gb) the weird thing is the case has a front hole camera maybe ???

Camera? No. That's where the ambient light sensor is so that auto brightness can be adjusted. It needs a hole there or the auto setting won't work at all.

i called an optus store last week that had originally contacted me regarding getting a new phone and mentioned to them that I wanted to be put on a waiting list for the iPhone because regardless of cost/plans available as that was the only phone i would be getting and I was told that while they have no official waiting list/ or pre order list, but that they had 2 dates of iPhone launch (could this refer to the rumoured 2 models?) one of which is end of June and the other mid july. i recall that a while back Apple had launched upgraded computers and had announced at Macworld Expos that one model would be available within 2 weeks of the announcement and the other within 4 - and this sounds to be in line with this pattern. Anyhow, I CANNOT wait and would love to be one of the first G2 iPhone owners in Australia!!!!

There is no way they would send out new iphones, PDA's or whatever by post or courier.
We have ordered two ipods for presents and in both cases the orders were "lost" by the courier company.
As an aside, apparently theft somewhere from the distribution centre to the customer is rife on apple products so make sure you track them. We were tracking our ipods and when they were listed as Out on delivery to customer, from the local town courier depot we thought they were going to be delivered within half a day. Four days went by and the same message. We had to phone apple in Ireland to get them to investigate and then it was established they had been "mislaid".

Alright, i've heard enough of this Hoax business, so here's the deal. I am a sales manager in an Apple store in the United States and i can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that we also received boxes like this and they have been sitting "unopened" in the back of our stores for about 4 days now. The box you are seeing in the photo is enclosed in another box, that box is a plain brown box with only a shipping label. The photos are in fact real. We have had training guides and and documentation on the new iPhone for almost 3 weeks now. An Apple representative came and replaced our hard wired firmware erasers with new bases last week and installed a 3G AT&T base station in our store. The only reason such a tight lid has been kept on this is because Apple sent out a notice that any leaked information would result in instant termination. Let me give you an idea about what this new phone will be like.
Here is what I can without a doubt CONFIRM for you:
3G (Obvious)
Increased space: 16 and 32gb models.
Real GPS
Three colors : White, Black, and Red
Video Conferencing
New Firmware on the device (also obvious)
3.2 MP Camera (Camera APP also received an update with new features such as zoom, brightness control, resolution, etc...)
SMS App update (now includes MMS and Video messaging support)
Price drop: starts at 300
There are a few more cool things i'll let you wait for the keynote to find out about.....there are a few things no one is expecting.....
And oh.......not phone.....but phone's (more than one model)

Your call, but no reason for me to lie. Don't really like attention, just trying to let yall in on some information. I am simply trying to state that those photos are completely and totally real, and you will see that on monday.

I am just not sure if the back cam can do video recording.
it's a basic tech question that I am confusing.
back cam can has the ablitity to record video?
or we have to use the front cam to record.
