PS:

Anyway I'm upgrading from a Powerbook 12" 1.5Ghz 1.2 Gb RAM, so I'm not worried, sure it will feel better.
BUT Anandtech review isn't so sweet. And problems people are having with screen, dents and other things doesn't make me happy.
Let's see..

Anyone got a change in status from "prepared to be shipped" to "shipped" during saturday or sunday?
Mine changed from "yet to be shipped" to "prepared to be shipped" 6.12 AM PDT.
Wondering if shipping works on weekends..:confused:
 
so im pretty pissed. I ordered a stock machine and paid for the 2 day shipping. It shipped out yesterday and on the fedex site it shows that the origin is a town over from me, a 2 hour drive. Regardless it's supposed to arrive on monday because that's 2 day shipping. If I would have selected free ground it would be here today. What do you guys suggest I do?
 
Blarg. Okay(assuming FedEx's times are the local times), my MBP landed in Indianapolis at a little before 1 AM EST which is 9:45PM in California. It left Indianapolis at 4 AM EST, which is 1 AM PST. And that was the last time the page was updated. It is now close to 8:00 AM here in California, it has had over four hours to fly which is plenty to get from Indianapolis to California. Right? Someone encourage me that it will be here today.

sounds like we are on the same shipment mines also going to california, the only flights I saw leaving indianapolis to california were to lax and i think oakland. Maybe they decided to truck it over the weekend to california so it would be here by Monday :(
 
Ugh..if it was coming today..the tracking page should say that it is on truck for delivery. But it doesn't :(. I'm still hoping it's because FedEx is slow at updating their page. PLEASE COME TODAY!!!:(:(
 
Yay..it just was updated to say it is at the FedEx Facility near my house...so if it doesn't get on a truck..I'll be able to pick it up. Huzzah, I'm getting it today!
 
Better than me, mine got delayed in IN due to rain and missed the "loading time" for the trucks. And they won't let me pick it up because it has to be delivered ONCE before you can do that according to Apple policy with FedEx. They said they won't even uncrate it until monday morning even if I came by they wouldn't give it to me. So 2 hours cost me 4 days!

I received the mail that the MBP has been shipped but no other info a part from a vague shiiping number with no reference to any carrier..
any hint?

Damn, it looks like UPS are a bit lost. My MBP is going to Berlin and it did this itinerary :
Shanghai -> Incheon -> Köln (DE) -> Apeldoorn (NL) -> Köln (DE) -> Apeldoorn (NL) ...

a bit strange, isn't it ?

I guess thats normal though i'm not sure why its bouncing back and forth in your case. Are you sure these are all packet movements? Not everything in the UPS tracking is an actual movement of your package.

Aas far as i know its normal that it goes to Germany -> Apeldoorn -> Back to Germany or similar. Maybe they're adding some other stuff there (cables/whatever).
