Like the "Are you addicted to MacRumors?" thread, this one is pretty straight forward.
And again, if you vote, also post so this thread doesn't get left in the dust.

I kinda think I am but I can be really stupid at times.
I don't really know what my friends think of me.

So what do you guys think of yourself?

[EDIT] A poll option for average has been added [/EDIT]

PS ~ notify me if you want me to change the polling options.
And I have to give some credit to MasterNile since it was his idea.

I think I make wise decisions. Perhaps that makes me intelligent, I don't know.

Intelligence isn't what you know, it's how you use what you know.

I don't know if I am smart.

I do know that I'm special one-of-a-kind little snowflake - just like everyone else.

Crap!
I forgot to add in an average option.
And I forgot to mention that I don't know how to edit the polling options, anybody care to explain?

I don't consider myself book smart as I've been out of school for 5 years and do very little to further my knowledge about anything other than computers, but I'm great at problem solving and using common sense so I put street smart

Ah. Then I have learned something today. I didn't know that. I guess I'm a wee bit smarter for the experience.... must learn patience, must learn patience, must....

No problem.
You must be running OS X then, lucky.
I have to be patient since I have Vista.
It makes me sick but I'm lucky to have enough patients to where I haven't thrown it out the window.

Voted (street) smart. I can bust a rad move and jam a brick in the hoop better than anyone.

edit: And I want to add this awesome graph for everyone to think long and hard about before they post :);

I think I am book smart. Also when I don't know something I do my best to find answers and learn everything I can about it, which I think is good.

Well - your graph answers exactly where I fall - because I can't make any sense of it.

Obviously - I is not smaht.

The process of acquiring new knowledge is a lot more enjoyable to me than claiming to know something.

hahaha :D. It's just a cool graph that shows that people who are below average at something (i.e. the bottom and second quartiles) usually have a very overinflated perception of their abilities (i.e. test score). They think they are far better than they actually are.

Whereas the most competent (the 3rd and 4th quartiles) have a much better grasp of their own capabilities. The most capable (4th percentile) might even underestimate their own abilities.

You've hurt my brain Saganomics ! Does this mean that you enjoyed figuring out that you liked the process of acquiring knowledge much more than you enjoy knowing that you enjoy the process of acquisition of knowledge :D!

haha my phrasing sucks.

I guess I'm just saying that I like learning, and that claiming to be super-intelligent in any respect hinders that mindset, for me at least.

I have a lot to learn!

Ok, now that you've explained it I'll try to comprehend and understand it.

That's cool.
I wish I was more like you.

And thanks for clearing that up.
It was very vague the first time.
