I was just about to go and buy a new shuffle. Went on the store and its closed. Its a strange time for the store to be shut.
That would be exctly what would happen to me aswell!
You would be kicking yourself if you ordered it five minutes ago and the iPod shuffle happened to be dropped in price. Not likely, but that would be annoying
You would definitely get it for the new price if that were the case.
In fact I hope that's the case. I really want a new shuffle, but I don't think it's worth the $70 ($80?). If it were $60 I'd buy it in a heart beat.

Apple Store doesn't do maintenance on Sundays at noon. They may do it at midnight.
If there is a product update today it will be a multi-touch mouse.
I dont know why, and it is probably really sad, but I get really excited when this happens.
