Other XS XS MAX (CDMA) VS (GSM) ??

In reading Apples Website it appears to me that there are two different models for each phone although they use the same model number one labeled (CDMA) and one (GSM). I called apple and the customer service rep was not sure of the difference. This leads me to believe that the phones purchased...

No matter GSM or CDMA, Sprint, or Verizon, these iPhone models will work on...

Carrier buying Sprint/Verizon phone to use on T-Mobile

Hi folks, I'm a T-Mobile customer but I'd like to buy an iPhone 7 on Sprint/Verizon model to have the CDMA capabilities -- T-Mobile is great worldwide, but in certain rural areas of the US it still roams on Verizon's old networks, which is critical for travel. How is it possible to buy a...

GSM only iPhone 7 will not support LTE networks in China/Hong Kong.

From looking at the iPhone 7 LTE band support, only the CDMA versions (Verizon and Sprint) of the iPhone 7 will have LTE support in China and Hong Kong. The CDMA version adds TD-SCDMA 1900 and 2000 bands. Only more reason to pick up the CDMA model over the GSM only one.
