    Connecting Yamaha PSR-540 keyboard to iMac for Garageband use

    The Yamaha-keyboard/synth is connected to the computer (iMac 27", middle of 2011, El Capitan) via USB (from the keyboard it's connected with two big cables, "in" and "out"), but won't work. Garageband says that a MIDI-device is found, but the keyboard can't be played on any tracks. Does anyone...

    Deleted Garageband and now I want it back

    Hey! I got an iPhone 6s a few days ago and deleted Garageband because I thought I wouldn't use it and it would just take a lot of space. But now I changed my mind and want it back xD Is there any way to get it back for free - it's 4.99€ in App store? Thanks! :)

    Imac CPU drainage using Garageband.

    I have just bought a brand new iMac 27 inch retina 5k, 3.2 Ghz Intel core i5, 8gb memory and 250gb flash storage..lovely machine, however when I run garageband on it the CPU in the activity monitor goes well over 100% sometimes hitting 200 and causes the screen to freeze and I get the spinning...

    Static - USB mic - Audio In - Macbook Pro

    So I bought a coolio microphone but it uses a jack for connectivity... thus if the computer doesn't output enough power, it needs phantom power, or a power source etc. Fortunately it came with a usb connector which pulls power from the USB (like a usb mic) and powers it... unfortunately...

    [GARAGEBAND]control-option-g doesn't work

    Literally just started using Garageband. Want to change the tempo of a song I imported from iTunes. Can't switch on 'Follow Tempo & Pitch' Tried control-option-g. Did absolutely nothing except to make the screen flash What's the problem?
