Wow, cool catch, somehow I managed to miss this one, I guess I can wait until 07/08/09 10:11:12

*goes to add ical alarm*

08/09/10 11:12:13

I'm watching the clock and counting down! (I'm in Pacific time.)

I already celebrated at 05:06:07 08/09/10. I hope some of you noticed the date today too.

This celebration is of course for only the countries (e.g., mine) that are foolish enough to use the mm/dd/yy convention.

Now I'm all messy from having champagne poured over my head. There's confetti all over the house (not to mention candy from the clock-shaped piñata) and the neighbors called the police! :D

I hope you had an equally good celebration of the big moment!

I'm in the Pacific time zone so I'm just back from the wild party we had to celebrate 11:11:11am on 1/11/11. We'll have another party at 11:11:11 this evening.

Then we'll start planning the party for November: 11:11:11 on 11/11/11!

13 12 11 10:09:08

In YY MM DD format the date is 13 12 11 and the time is 10:09:08 here in the Pacific Time Zone. That makes it 13 12 11 10 09 08!

Party time once again!!

There was also the same thing flipped around, either last month (in the US) or yesterday (everywhere else): 08:09:10, 11/12/13.

The cool dates are getting sparser now that the 2-digit year (13) is greater than the maximum month (12). I suppose we could look forward to some arithmetic progressions, like when the year.month.day.hour.minute.second is 14.12.10.8.4.2 on 10 Dec 2014 at 8:04:02, when the century.year.month.day is 20.15.10.5 on 5 Oct 2015, or when we get pairs of multiples of ten on 10 Oct 2020 at midnight: 2020 10/10 00:00. And in only 76021 days it'll be 2/2/2222 at 22:22:22.

So you're looking for progressions, rather than other patterns.

I was thinking of Jan 5 2014, a little before 9:30 am, i.e. 14/1/5 9:26:53. Decapitated.

I was also trying to work my favorite fraction (.142857...) into the party calendar, but it's running into problems after 5 decimal places.

In Universal Coordinated Time it is precisely

2020 10-10 0:0

I mentioned this event back in December 2013 (see post above). Now the time (and date) has come to cheer about it.

Enjoy the 20 20 10 10 0 0 holiday while it lasts (for one minute)!

Don’t forget another party blower at 20 past 8 tonight.
2020-10/10-20:20!
I like the balance.

There's also 9:21:21 PM on January 21, 2021: 21st second, of 21st minute, of 21st hour, of 21st day, of 21st year, of 21st century (just the month doesn't quite fit in).
