Wah!!! It doesn't get here until Thursday and the two addresses are only 30 minutes apart.. Hopefully they update it. Thanks for the info.
Wednesday, the lady I spoke to with UPS possibly will be successful in bumping that up.
Ah i see. My delivery date doesn't show it arriving until Thursday and it's still currently in China so doubt ill be getting a bump up :/
The initial order should have authorized the card. Apple doesn't actually finalize the charge until the order ships. Your authorization probably dropped off, but will be charged when it ships.
Jesus. For the 30th time, this isn't how it works. Apple gets a preauth. That's it. Apple has no more involvement. The charge finalizing is all internal to the bank's exchange and the processor. If it "falls off" the processor failed to meet their exchange deadline and must resubmit...but if funds are no longer available the processor bears the loss because they didn't meet the deadline. Otherwise the bank must pay if they somehow let you exceed your credit limit or withdraw the money.
My phone is in Anchorage (hopefully) and my charge still isn't final.
I should be receiving mine Wednesday as well. Already called UPS so I can pick it up 8am at will call before I go to work. It'll give me something to do

I am in the same boat. Order was confirmed at 12:04 am on 9/20. Paid for expedited shipping. Ordered a gold 32 Verizon phone and shipping dates were 9/27-10/1 and it is still preparing to ship. Frustrating!

Your phone (and my moms...) seem to have the biggest amount of them not shipping.
The same goes for me too. Confirm sent 3:05 eastern 32gb gold vzw and it is still preparing for shipment. Any chance there is a glitch and we will all be suprised tomorrow? Wishful thinking

Let's hope. My friend ordered a grey verizon 32 at the same time and he got a shipping notice this am for Thursday We are both in SF.
Starting to think my phone missed that flight. But I was not expecting phone until Wednesday. So I guess mine may be on the next flight out.
