looks like our iPhones are gonna be fellow passengers...got one that's the same as yours (gold, 64 GB) and another space gray one (also, 64 GB) - but both are T-Mobile models

Not too sure about that, they'll be in Alaska by tomorrow night.

Tomorrow afternoon... Then Louisville super early and hopefully to UPS early enough for those that live close.

This is pretty much how my batch of phones will be if it follows the same schedule as todays.

I also have a 32 GB Silver T-Mobile phone on that same flight.

I'm from Boston too!

Mine is also arriving on Wednesday. :)

That's reassuring. I felt a little left out seeing that mine still shows it not having arrived in Anchorage or Korea yet. I'm getting my shipped to my office so it should be safe. I wonder if I should activate it and restore from iCloud off free Wi-fi

yeah that's kinda how it works, the tracking is also bunched up. For right now your tracking info is getting updated whenever the pallet or bunch of pallets it's with is scanned.

They don't scan each individual package until way later in the process.

I'm with you guys! #twinning

Gold 16GB Unlocked 5s, still waiting in Zhengzhou.

Here's a pretty interesting article about Apple's logistics. Apparently they buy entire FedEx flights to hold ONLY iPhones and they fit 450,000 iPhones on one plane.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-...hts-from-china-to-your-local-apple-store.html

Have a read.

The containers are then loaded onto trucks and shipped via pre-bought airfreight space, including on old Russian military transports

I can't believe they get here in one piece!

I'm really hoping my phone stays on track for a Wednesday delivery. On Wed., there will be someone home all day but Thursday we'll be in and out.

As fun as this is, I could have picked one up in a store today using the reservation system. When I checked earlier there was a fair amount in stock.

I have yet to see any unlocked T-Mobile versions in stock, so I guess I made the right choice ordering online.

I regret it, but how would we have known it would've been an option?

They do it every year. Lesson learned. The Apple store 3 blocks away from me here in NYC says available for pick up. I could have grabbed it on my way home today. Instead I'm tracking flights in Korea.

True, not all models are available but my 64gb grey att is pretty generic I guess. The stores are getting replenished quicker than I anticipated.
