Yup. It is even coming in early to Anchorage due to favorable winds.

It has to fly to Louisville early AM on Friday, get sorted and then loaded onto planes heading to the other cities. And it has to do this before the flights to those cities need to leave to meet the early AM shipment deadlines. It is just a long way from Louisville to California so they have to leave early to make it.

For most places they can make that connection. Even for the West Coast you will see a lot of people ended up with the phone today rather than tomorrow as predicted because they were able to move the phones in time.

So, it is quite possible you can get it on Friday, but UPS is not guaranteeing it.
 
Mine is still out for delivery. I keep going outside to check for the UPS truck every 30 minutes or so. My neighbors probably think I'm some kind of weirdo, haha.
 
Mine is here, several hours earlier than UPS normally delivers here….which is totally cool with me! :)

For some reason, Sprint wasn't recognizing my pin though, so I had to use an alternate means of authentication.

Quite similar to mine. Except my import scan in KY was at 2:22PM :-/
 
I was driving around during my lunch hour looking for the UPS truck and gave up after 30 min. I parked my car and was headed back to work when the UPS driver drove up right next to my car! Wow, what a coincidence!! I now have my phone! Next time, I think I will take my chances and buy it from the Apple store.

Both Gold 64GB VZ (expedited) and Silver 32GB VZ (not expedited) are out for delivery today in SF.
 
UPS brought mine a little earlier than normal. It's already set up and in the case. Nice phone!
 
Mine was out for delivery, so I got up early and started waiting. Around 9am I went out to go get breakfast and discovered another package I was waiting for via UPS on my doorstep.

SERIOUSLY?!

It came at 7:30am according to tracking, which is also the time my other package went to "out for delivery" - apparently it's on a different truck.

I HOPE SO! lol :D
 
My gold 64GB "T-Mobile unlocked" iPhone 5s is now waiting for me at home. Thanks everyone for making the tracking of the these things so much fun!
 
Finally here now just have to hope everything is OK in box
UPS did a good job. Keep in mind this pkg has been halfway around the world in the last few days
 
Still waiting.... Damn ups last week they delivered the wife's 5c at 10 am and now it's 4:17pm ...
 
funny thing, just looked at flightaware and saw ups 99 was at 6000 feet and descending into anchorage, so for those in the same group as me,, it should be landing now

I have 2 gold vz phones. One import scan at 225a the other 228a. This morning it said the 228a phone missed the connection. But the other made the 340a flight to Ontario, CA.

This morning ups said both phones missed the connection saying it's an error on their computer. Although I doubt that.

Either way for those of you requesting pick up you might want to call an agent and request instead of using the web. I entered that request a few days ago but the agent told me they are having problems w that too so they don't actually see that request.
 
I'm so sad! Mine was scheduled for early delivery today, and I live in a complex with a front office that usually signs for my packages. Today...I don't know if UPS didn't go to the office or what, but no one signed for it and they took it back :( 1st delivery attempt made. Ugh, why??

So question - does UPS usually allow for pick-ups on the day of the first delivery attempt? Like tonight?
