According to a tweet from "sstaver", Apple has set up a number for people to "test out" FaceTime.

Give it a call. It's indeed legitimate.

EDIT: Title fixed.

If only it was real... That's ok though, I have a friend that I can videochat with (I actually just got done videochatting with her a fer minutes ago!)

It's real. I called it.

"You have reached 888 FaceTime outside of Apple's regular business hours. Please try your call again during normal business hours."

Do the demo phones at the apple store have phone numbers? I might just have to get a number and FaceTime with people in the store. I used to video chat with people in the stores, screen share and mess with people, etc. It was fun.

It's legit. Apple just sent me an email.
