1 gig MacBook/Pro RAM $99 at BestBuy.com

I need some help guys. Just got a 2.0mhz white Macbook and want to upgrade to 1gb for the RAM. I don't mind paying $100-120 per stick, but the RAM listed above is not marked as working with Macs. Even the Corsair that everyone got from Bestbuy above, is the VALUE SELECT RAM and when you go to the Corsair site, they say that only the RAM picked through their ram configurator will be guaranteed to work and the VALUE SELECT does not match up with the Macbook. Even on Newegg, the VS has a bunch of people with Macs saying it does not work in their Macbooks. Any idea what is up?

Will the cheap stuff that is the same pin/speed work or not? It is odd that most manufacturers won't give a cheaper option in their memory configurators on their sites. Any idea's?

Well, if you read the comments on the G.Skill listed above, almost all people say that it works on their MacBook. If you follow the link on new egg to mac memory, there is much less of it and it is more expensive.
