1 huge overlooked problem with a fingerprint sensor

I think most would know if they were asleep and someone starts fiddling with there hands...

The more problematic thing is if someone is passed out drunk, then its open game..I could VERY MUCH see people saying let's get this guy/girl drunk as **** so they pass out so we can get into there phone. Actually...make that a garuntee, i would be the one instigating it probably lol

You must have a pretty sad life if you would get someone "drunk as ****" just to get into their iPhone

Keep in mind, the fingerprint scan doesn't /replace/ the passcode .. you still have a passcode for the phone that you can type in manually (like we do today) if you want/need.

The fingerprint scan is merely a super-fast shortcut to that passcode.

This means anyone you want to have access to your phone, you can still give them the passcode.

Has it been announced if the phone will ask for a passcode in case the fingerprint sensor doesn't work? I assume it will be accurate, but what if there are issues?

You can add multiple finger prints.
