1 Leopard DVD, 2 MAC

Can i install Leopard on my powerbook as well as the macbook of my girl friend or do i need 2 leopard ?

You can use Disk Utility to make a bootable backup copy.

Just read the OP again and I think part of the question might be whether Leopard will install on either PPC or Intel. The DVD contains installs for either platform (keeping in mind, of course, the above licensing restrictions).

You don't have to copy the DVD. You can use the same DVD to install on your girlfriends mac. However it won't be legal.
