Congratulations!!!
It's been 7.5 months since I quit, and it's amazing how much more energy I have and somewhat paradoxically, how much more relaxed I am.
Don't look back.
It's around 11th and Manhattan Ave. I've never been to the Local Yoke..... I'll have to check it out.
Here's a photo of the outside of the bakery that I posted in the iPhone photo of the day thread:

A very cool vibe there......I love seeing people walking on the sidewalks carrying surfboards and kayaks.
Congratulations. I will take this opportunity to confess that I made it 4 months without a cigarette...
...and then I caved. I smoke MUCH less now than before, but I'm still smoking again.
To the OP - Don't let up. It can sneak up on you when you least expect it!

Smoking less = zero success. Smoking is smoking. It's like being pregnant: you are or you aren't, there's no in-between. But if you quit for 4 months you could have done it forever. Now you're back where you started. Just do it.Congratulations. I will take this opportunity to confess that I made it 4 months without a cigarette...

Do or do not. There is no try.I quit for 3 years, didn't even have one cigarette in 3 years, but I went back. I don't know how I did it. Now, I have 3-4 cigarettes a day. I smoke half a cigarette to get the nicotine craving and throw out the rest.
I'm going to keep on trying.![]()
